How to write clearer messages for Instagram automation
Make automated replies useful by being specific about the next step, the offer, and what the recipient should expect.

Lead with the information you promised
If a post invites someone to comment for a guide, price, or product page, put that information at the beginning of the direct message. Avoid making the recipient answer another question before receiving what the post offered.
Use a short opening that explains why the person received the message, then give one clear next action.
Keep the public reply and private message consistent
A public reply can confirm that the requested details are on the way. Make sure that statement matches the configured campaign and the actual delivery experience.
Keep the tone consistent with the original post and the business. Use plain language, avoid unnecessary urgency, and review the wording on a small mobile screen.
Make links and calls to action specific
Tell the recipient what a link contains, such as a booking page or product details. Confirm the destination is live, mobile-friendly, and consistent with the offer.
Use one primary call to action where possible. Multiple competing links can make a simple follow-up harder to act on.
Review the full recipient experience
Read the post, trigger prompt, public reply, direct message, and landing page together. Each step should make sense without relying on the recipient to infer context.
After publishing, review responses and campaign activity. Improve the copy when people ask the same clarifying question or when the next step is not obvious.
